Ingredients

Lemon Flavor Base

  • 1 lemon zest
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed for best flavor

Aromatics

  • 4 garlic cloves freshly minced for more aroma

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb asparagus trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups orzo I always use De Cecco for better texture
  • 2 cups chicken broth I use Swanson Natural Goodness
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric gives the pasta a vibrant golden color
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
